Dr. Jeffrey Girardin joined Horizon Eye Specialists & Lasik Center in 1999 and provides routine eye care and contact lens fittings as well as pre- and post-operative care of refractive and cataract surgery cases. In addition, he has experience in diagnosing and treating ocular diseases, including glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy.

Jeffrey graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He received his Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. Dr. Girardin completed an externship at Great Lakes Naval Base and has provided continuing education lectures for other optometrists.

Jeffrey lives in Scottsdale with his wife Carine, daughter Margaret and son Michael. Michael was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes on March 23, 2007 at the age of 8 years old.

He enjoys traveling together as a family, supporting his kids in their sports and activities and is an avid Nebraska football fan.
