As we head into the holiday season, the JDRF Nevada Chapter wants to thank all of our supporters for their participation this year.

We had a great TypeOneNation Summit in March, bringing together diabetes experts from across the nation and families living with diabetes in Southern Nevada through a grant from the Anthem Foundation.

In April, at the 2016 Hope Gala honoring Cari Marshall, we raised $1.1 million dollars to support type 1 diabetes research. Read more about the event at this link.

October brought two large events for the chapter. First, the inaugural Cork & Soul event took place at Tivoli Village. The wine, food, and music experience raised over $111,000 in support of the JDRF One Walk.

Then, just one week later, we gathered together at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas to enjoy the JDRF One Walk. So far the walk has raised over $496,000 towards our goal of $587,000. Stay tuned for retail and sneaker sale campaigns this spring to help us reach our goal.

**The JDRF office will close for Winter Break at 2 pm on Friday, December 23rd and reopen on Tuesday, January 3rd.**
