JDRF Sonoma Ride

in ,

In August, five of our JDRF Fort Worth Ride Team members went to Sonoma, CA and participated in record-breaking JDRF event. With $3.1 million dollars raised to fund type 1 diabetes research, this ride is now recognized as JDRF’s largest fundraiser to date! Congratulations to our riders who participated in raising funds and riding miles.

A note from JDRF President & CEO Aaron Kowalski on the record-breaking JDRF Ride to Cure in Sonoma, California:

“I want to personally thank the over 100+ volunteers, 600 riders — representing 54 chapters and 2 countries — and the 55 coaches, all who inspired us along the way. Because of you, we were able to raise a record-breaking $3.1 million dollars to fund #T1D research. We couldn’t possibly do this without you. Thank you Sonoma riders, coaches and volunteers.”
