We are very pleased to present you with our next FUNDRAISING CHALLENGE:

Every registered walker who raises $500 or more between Wednesday, September 11 and next Friday, September 20 will receive their very own travel JDRF Stainless Java Mug. If you raise just $50 a day, you’ll have a brand new mug to keep your caffeinated beverages hot and your energies high for the remainder of the Walk season!

As an added bonus, we will award our TOP 3 fundraisers (in the same allotted timeframe) a Wawa gift card, which we hope you’ll use to fill up your travel mugs!

Faces of Diabetes
Pathway signs to honor loved ones living with T1D

Personalized Walk Signs

We are looking forward to our “Faces of Diabetes” gracing our Walk route again this year! All families have the option to purchase a sign for their loved one with type 1 diabetes (T1D) to be displayed on the Walk routes at Philadelphia and Bucks.  Signs cost $50 per sign up until September 30, and the cost of the sign will be credited to your family’s Team goal!

Please select from the two options:

Faces of Diabetes Sign – Send a high-resolution photo of your family member with T1D with their name, current age and age at diagnosis.

Personal Message Sign – Write a personal message.

To reserve your sign, please contact Jo-Ell Robinson, jrobinson@jdrf.org or 610-227-0364, with the necessary information by September 30. Signs cost a $50 donation until September 30, and the price will increase to a $100 donation from October 1 until October 10. Get your request in today!

We would like to extend a special thank you to one of our National Corporate Partners, The Fresh Market, for their continued support of JDRF.  This past weekend concluded their 19^th year of raising funds for JDRF and diabetes research by hosting a two-week sneaker sale campaign and their much-anticipated Sidewalk Sale event.  It was a very successful and fun weekend at the Glen Mills and Horsham store locations.  We are incredibly lucky to have their amazing store managers, staff, and customers working alongside us in our efforts to raise money to cure, treat, and prevent T1D.  To date, The Fresh Market has raised more than $2.73 million for JDRF and they have helped increase awareness of T1D.
