JDRF Tee Up Golf Classic – THANK YOU!

in ,

Thank you for supporting the 22nd Annual JDRF Tee Up to Cure Diabetes Golf Classic! On Monday, July 17, more than 230 golfers, sponsors, and volunteers joined us as we came together to raise a record-breaking $198,000 (and counting) for type 1 diabetes (T1D) research! We are so grateful to all of you, our extraordinary sponsors, families, and friends of JDRF for your generosity and ongoing commitment to our mission.

It was incredible to see everyone out on the course, enjoying the sunshine, and beating the heat to create a successful and memorable day at Quidnessett Country Club! Players enjoyed on-course games, raffles, and the silent auction. The event featured Meet or Beat the Marker, a Hole-in-One contest, and various treats from our generous Snack Hole Sponsors.

A message from Golf Chair, Chris Librizzi:

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your generous donations, participation, and presence on Monday, July 17, 2023, at Quidnessett Country Club. The deep gratitude I have for your involvement is tremendous.

Having started this event more than 22 years ago and watching it grow, along with all children with T1D, has been truly rewarding. After raising $35,000 back in 2001, to see our event turn over $198,000 this year is nothing less than amazing.

Thank you so much for taking time out of your Monday, especially in the heat, to participateā€“it is truly appreciated. I hope you all enjoy the remainder of your summer and I look forward to seeing you back here in July 2024.

The event would not have been possible without the astounding support of our JDRF partners. We are so thankful for the ongoing commitment of our Presenting Sponsor, NEFCO Fire Investigations, and to all our incredible sponsors and in-kind supporters noted below. We offer very special thanks to our emcee for the evening, Nick Coit of ABC 6; the extraordinary Tee Up to Cure Diabetes Golf Committee, led by Golf Chair, Chris Librizzi; Fund A Cure Speaker, Ava Librizzi; Procurement Chair, Michelle LeBeau; and our amazing event volunteers. We are truly grateful for their support, energy, and time to ensure this yearā€™s tournament was a complete success!

Please join us in recognizing, supporting, and thanking our generous sponsors!

With supporters like you, we are confident that we are on the path to turn Type One into Type None. If you have any questions, please call the JDRF Greater New England Chapter at 781-431-0700. On behalf of JDRF and the 1.45 million Americans living with T1D, thank you for being part of JDRFā€™s transformative research, advocacy, and outreach efforts, and for bringing us one step closer to a cure.
