Adult Type 1 Meet Ups: Join JDRF for an Adult Type 1 Meet Up session! These are casual events to connect with other adults in the type 1 diabetes community. Each meeting typically covers a type 1 diabetes topic of interest. The next Adult Type 1 Meet Up will be hosted on Wednesday, May 22 at 6:30PM at the JDRF Office. Join us for a night to learn about the latest technology, screening, early intervention and a rooftop social. RSVP today here.

KC Type 1 Young Adult Hang Outs: Join this volunteer led group to connect and have fun with other young adults living with type 1 diabetes (T1D)! This group hosts hang outs for kids and families and well as young adults. The Young Adult Hang Out group meets regularly at different locations throughout the year. Advocates in Action Council: The Advocates in Action Council (AAC) is a group of young adults who are business professionals, community leaders, and engaged students. These up-and-comers actively support the advancement of JDRF’s advocacy priority areas, spread awareness of type 1 diabetes (T1D) within their communities, and inspire youth to use their voices and share their stories with key decision makers.
