JDRF Virginia Virtual Annual Meeting

in

First and foremost, we hope that you and your loved ones are safe and healthy. Also – we miss you! We know how difficult it is to be apart from friends, family and from the JDRF gatherings and events we all love so well.

As JDRF’s fiscal year draws to a close, we are gifted the opportunity to look back over the last twelve months. In doing so, there is sadness at how different the world looks today. There is curiosity and uncertainty about what the future holds; but there is also joy, progress and partnership. Now more than ever, we are #StrongerTogether with a strong hope for the future.

Under normal circumstances, we would be coming together soon at our Annual Meeting, but in the interest of the health of our community this in-person gathering will not be possible. Instead, I would like to encourage you to visit our chapter Facebook page on Thursday June 4th  where we have posted an inspirational organizational update from JDRF President and CEO, Dr. Aaron Kowalski, and a powerful message on research progress.

Thank you for your continued support of our shared vision of a world without type one diabetes. We need it now more than ever and will are so grateful to have you “gather” with us in the days and weeks ahead.

With appreciation,

JDRF Virginia
