October Clinical Trial Feature: ROUTE T1D


Study Name:
Research on Optimizing the Use of Technology With Education (ROUTE-T1D) (NCT05564481)

Location: Children’s National Hospital Washington, DC

Purpose of the Study: To determine the feasibility of a behavioral intervention that teaches problem solving and communication skills around CGM data to improve blood sugar management in adolescents.

Who can participate:

  • 10-15 years old
  • T1D for at least 6 months
  • Starting CGM for the first time OR restarting after being off CGM for a year

Commitment: Three telemedicine consults with a diabetes educator
