On March 9^th, nearly four hundred JDRF supporters joined us at the 2024 JDRF Dream Gala! Together we were able to raise $865,000 and we are absolutely overwhelmed by the incredible support and generosity from our community.

The evening was filled with inspiration involving music, dancing, tears, and cheers, as we reflected on a night of deep, meaningful impact and honored our seven Women in T1D Honorees: Dr. Kimber Simmons, Kami Welch, Margaret Olek Esler, Megan Harmon, Mindy Buehler, Irma Crepps, and Karen O’Brien. It was an honor to celebrate the accomplishments of these amazing women during Women’s History Month, as they cultivate community and accelerate research for people we love with T1D.

After the moving opening speech from our Colorado Community Board President, John Moore, we held an exciting Live Auction, and the stories of our seven Honorees were shared. The next generation of young women changing the face of this disease, Addison Buehler, Sarah Crepps, and Sarah O’Brien, then entered the stage and asked the audience to join us to impact the mission of JDRF through Fund A Cure. The impact made here was incredible.

Right now, we are in a golden age of advanced medicine, and T1D research is at a critical inflection point. For those who were unable to attend the Dream Gala and would still like to make an impact through a tax-deductible donation, you can do so by donating to Fund A Cure, in honor of those you love living with T1D.
