Dear Friends,
Thanks to the ongoing dedication of passionate volunteers, experts, families, and supporters, we have made incredible advances in drugs, devices, and therapies. Exciting progress like the launching of JDRF’s Third Center for Excellence and JDRF’s recent partnership with the Lupus Research Alliance and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society to advance the understanding of autoimmunity, are just a couple examples of the impact and leadership role JDRF has played in every major advance, improvement, and breakthrough delivered for the type 1 diabetes (T1D) community.
Today, we feel we are at a true tipping point—we are confident that it’s not a matter of whether we’ll cure this disease, but when. You, our dedicated community, have brought us to this point. Now, to bring us across the finish line we need to continue to grow our community, inspire more people to take action—and, yes, raise more money—because the more people we bring into our shared vision, the sooner we’ll achieve a world without T1D!

The 13th Network for Pancreatic Organ Donors with Diabetes (nPOD) Annual Meeting was held February 22-24, 2021, and featured some of the most world-renowned diabetes investigators. Check out the latest advances – using nPOD samples HERE.
