ISPAD-JDRF Research Fellowships Announced
The International Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Diabetes (ISPAD) aims to promote research, education, and advocacy in children, adolescents, and young adults with diabetesāacross the globe. The ISPAD-JDRF Research Fellowships provide $25,000 to people under the age of 40 who wish to pursue a career in diabetes related research. Read about the winners.
California Plans to Manufacture Affordable Insulin
In his most recent budget adopted by the state of California, Governor Gavin Newsom announced a plan for the state to manufacture its own insulin, sell it at close to the cost of manufacturing, and make it available to every California resident who needs it regardless of their insurance status. Fill Up at The Giving Pump/Cox Family Stores in NorCal Communities: August 1st ā October 31st
Cox Family Stores and Shell have partnered on a philanthropic initiative ā The Giving Pump. Now through October 31st, at select stations around NorCal communities, simply fill up at the The Giving Pump and a portion of your purchase will be donated to JDRF.
