HOLIDAY ARTWORK NEEDED !!

MoreThanCards has supported the JDRF for over 12 years, selling more than 2 million greeting cards and notecards, and netting over $500,000 for Type-1 diabetes research for JDRF

  ALL ARTISTS WELCOME!

These cards give artists a chance to help make people more aware about diabetes, and to raise money for research to find a cure.

Who can enter?
Anyone!  However, individuals who have t1d, or who would like to dedicate their artwork to their relative who has type 1 diabetes, will be given priority.
Parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles and friends can submit their artwork, too!

What to create?
Anything that means “celebrate” to you: Religious, Christmas, Rosh Hashana, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Winter Holiday themes, etc….

Guidelines 

• Size: multiples of 6″x 8″ work best (3″ x 4″, 6″ x 8″, 9″ x 12″)
• Use bright colors.
• Paint works better than marker and makes a better appearance.
• No pencil or colored pencil. No glitter.
• If you want to send files by email, they should be hi-resolution (300 dpi or better), .eps or tiff preferred.

How to enter
Entries must be received by March 31, annually.  (If you miss the 2014 Holiday Card Contest deadline, you can still help MoreThanCards by sending in your designs–they might be picked for other kinds of cards and gifts.) Entries must include artist’s name, age, age at diagnosis if applicable (or, if a family member, information on both the artist and the person with type 1 diabetes), address, phone number, and e-mail).
