Join us as we COME TOGETHER as a state for our first-ever NC Spirit Week, Beatles style! Engage with us on social media, participate in daily challenges, and join us for a Zoom meeting that best fits you! We hope to meet a lot of new faces and connect with all of our old pals because as the Beatles say, ā€œWe get by with a little help from our friends!ā€ We may not be able to come together in person, but we know that there is nothing more powerful than our T1D community and we look forward to a week of education, connection, and FUN!

MONDAY – April 19th – I get by with a little help from my friends….

Today we will focus on the YOUTH of NC living with T1D.

Challenge of the Day: Ā For all of you that love to draw or design, we are looking for our own unique version of a Beatles Album cover.Ā  Bonus points to those who can hide T1D items into the cover. Submit an entry into the Album Cover Creation Challenge by emailing a picture of your drawn Album cover to Northcarolina@jdrf.org and post it on social media using the hashtags #ComeTogetherNCJDRF #Helpfrommyfriends #NCSPIRITWEEK.Ā The winner of the Album Cover Contest will be announced on our Friday evening zoom meet up -prizes will be provided!

TUESDAY – April 20th – HELP, Anybody HELP!

Today we will focus on all those living with T1D UNDER THE AGE OF 10Ā and their families!

Challenge of the Day: Get out those crayons and markers! Choose a coloring sheet from the links below. Then COLOR! Make it bright and fun and add your personal flare.Ā Submit an entry into the Beatles themed Coloring contest Ā by downloading a coloring sheet below, creating a master pieces, then take a picture and email it to Northcarolina@jdrf.org Ā finally, post your creation on social media using the hashtags #ComeTogetherNCJDRF #HELPanybodyhelp #NCSPIRITWEEK

THURSDAY – April 22nd – Getting Better all the time

Today we will focus on all the ADULTSĀ  living with T1D!

Challenge of the dayĀ ā€“ Get readyā€¦ Get Setā€¦ Scavenge!! You will have ONE DAY to find all the items on the list. TheĀ Scavenger HuntĀ list will be released on all social media channels at noon on April 21st.Ā  You have until 7:00pm on April 22nd to collect items and take a selfie with will the items. Email the picture to NorthCarolina@jdrf.org and post your pictures on social media using the hashtag #GettingBetterT1D #NCSpiritWeek. Ā Winners of this challenge will be announced on our Friday evening zoom meet up ā€“ prizes will be provided.
