The JDRF Northern Florida Youth Ambassador Program is accepting applications!  The Youth Ambassador Program is made up of local youth ages 5-18, Kindergarten through 12th grade, with type one diabetes (T1D) who are interested in becoming involved with the outreach and volunteer efforts of the JDRF Northern Florida Chapter.     The JDRF Youth Ambassador Program teaches children and teens to advocate for and raise awareness of type 1 diabetes (T1D) in their community.  Youth Ambassadors will have confidence in sharing their T1D story, demonstrate leadership skills and collaborate with T1D peers while advancing the mission of JDRF while earning service hours.

Our goal for the Youth Ambassador Program participants is to feel ownership and pride in the program and contribute to furthering the JDRF mission during their involvement.  We will offer a number of opportunities to stay engaged and connected throughout the Youth Ambassador term.  Our team of JDRF Northern Florida Youth Ambassadors will help spread T1D awareness and will help advance JDRF’s mission through their participation, voice and leadership!  Applications are being accepted for the August 1, 2022 – July 31, 2023 term.  Applications are due no later than Wednesday, August 3, 2022.
