Ten year old JDRF Youth Ambassador, Reese, is working to spread awareness about type 1 diabetes. Reese was diagnosed this past fall, and enthusiastically joined the Youth Ambassador program this spring. Youth Ambassadors are youth aged 6-17 who volunteer their time to spread awareness about type 1 diabetes in their community. Reese created a #Istayhomefor poster and shared with the JDRF Dallas team. She wanted to share how important it was for type 1 diabetics to stay home. This project has inspired other Youth Ambassadors to continue spreading awareness about type 1 diabetes, even from home!
