Peace Cure Emma

Emma was diagnosed on Nov. 8, 2006 at the age of 2 years old. She is 10 years old and in the 5th grade. Emma loves to dance, swim and be with her friends and family. Living with type 1 diabetes hasn’t been an easy road, but it is filled with lots of hope in JDRF to find a Cure! Emma’s team has been walking since 2008. This is their 7th year walking together as a team! Emma is hopeful that one day type one will become type none! Congratulations to Team Emma for being one of JDRF’s top teams! And, thank you to Jennifer McCarty (Emma’s mom) for chairing this year’s walk!
