We have multiple options to provide support to those living with type 1 diabetes (T1D) or caring for children with T1D. Through the T1D Connections Program, the Upstate New York Chapter provides in-person and virtual support groups for our community members.

Our in person support groups are designed for school age children (K-8) with T1D and parent(s) of any age of children with T1D. Children will have their own space to connect and relate with each other, while caregivers are able to talk amongst themselves about the challenges and triumphs in caring for a young one with T1D.

These meetings are intended for caregivers & parents of children with T1D, and they take place monthly on the 1st Wednesday of every month at 6pm.
