Bridging the Gap – T1D Teen Connections Group: 2nd Wednesday of the month at 7:00 PM
JDRF Mid-Atlantic is excited to host the “Bridging the Gap” meet-up for teens ages 13-18 with T1D. Led by young adults living with T1D, this informal meet-up is an opportunity for teens to meet and talk openly about the challenges and triumphs of living with T1D. Type 1 Diabetes Peer Support Group
Are you living with T1D or parenting a child with T1D? Join us for an informal conversation to share information and connect with others in the T1D community. Bring questions or topics you would like to discuss. Before the Covid-19 pandemic this group met monthly at Suburban Hospital. We are now meeting virtually via Zoom. Greater Blue Ridge Area T1D Support Group (IN-PERSON)
This support group meets every other month at Raleigh Court United Methodist Church in Roanoke, VA and is open to anyone living with or affected by T1D. Youth activities and childcare are available. This new support group led by Meritus Medical Center diabetes educators will meet monthly at E. Russel Hicks Middle School (1321 S Potomac St, Hagerstown) and is open to all students age 5-18 and their parents/caregivers.
