Join your T1D community for a virtual meet up to connect with other newly diagnosed families and get advice and tips from experienced T1D caregivers. This casual meeting, led by JDRF outreach volunteers, will not offer medical advice but will offer laughter, ideas, and connection! Bridging the Gap – T1D Teen Connections Group: 2nd Wednesday of the month at 7:00 PM
JDRF Mid-Atlantic is excited to host the “Bridging the Gap” meet-up for teens ages 13-18 with T1D. Led by young adults living with T1D, this informal meet-up is an opportunity for teens to meet and talk openly about the challenges and triumphs of living with T1D. Type 1 Diabetes Peer Support Group
Are you living with T1D or parenting a child with T1D? Join us for an informal conversation to share information and connect with others in the T1D community. Bring questions or topics you would like to discuss. Before the Covid-19 pandemic this group met monthly at Suburban Hospital. We are now meeting virtually via Zoom. This support group is starting monthly meetings at Raleigh Court United Methodist Church and is open to anyone living with or affected by T1D.
